Photograph Glade Bilby II (allentoussaint.com/)Allen Toussaint, a member of the Rock And Roll, Blues and Louisiana Music Halls Of Fame, died late Monday night or early Tuesday morning of a heart attack. He was 77.

 
News reports say Toussaint became stricken after a concert in Madrid.
 
Among the classic hit songs written by Toussaint were “Mother-In-Law” (Ernie K-Doe), “Working In A Coal Mine” (Lee Dorsey), “Southern Nights” (Glen Campbell) and “Yes We Can Can” (the Pointer Sisters). He co-produced with Vicki Wickam the original #1 hit, “Lady Marmalade” by LaBelle.
