Incredible New Talent

Lyric Dubee is well on his way to becoming an international recording artists.  IMT recently conducted an interview with this amazing young guitarist from Canada.

Cashbox Canada’s COO & Chief Editor Sandy Graham introduced Lyric to IMT.  We were amazed at the talent, industry connections and multi-genres this Canadian musician plays for his fans.

We predict that Lyric Dubee will go far in his own country, as well as on the international music scene!

How It Started

At age 9 Lyric began taking guitar lessons using his fathers guitar. For Lyric’s 10th birthday he received his first guitar and he hasn’t looked back since! Within the first year Lyric had played in his school talent show and had landed a spot in the Barrie New Music Festival.

Now after playing for only 4 1/2 years Lyric has played in a variety of venues.

In 2012 Lyric will be performing at NXNE, Kempenfest,Barrie East End Social Festival, Orangeville Blues Festival,Kingston Buskers Rendezvous, Southside Shuffle Blues Festival,Taste of Kingsway Festival, Barrie Fair

Charities:

In 2012 Lyric performed for the VIP guest of the Theatre By the Bay ” Stars Come Out” Fund Raiser and Fund raiser for Margaret Dinsdale, owner of Sugar Moon Music Inc, Cadillac Lounge.

In 2011 Lyric performed for participants of the Tourette Association Walk a thon and Jack’s Fight For a Cure (Black Diamond Anemia). He also raised money for the Alliston District Humane Society during the Beeton Honey Festival, Alliston Potatoe Festival and at Zellers. In 2010 he played for the participants of the Terry Fox Run.

In 2012 Lyric will be performing at a Fund Raiser for “THE TORONTO SUMMERTIME GRAND ARTS 2013 FESTIVAL”, Tourette Syndrome Walk-a-thon and ARCH in Sault Ste. Marie

Weddings:

He entertained guests for 1 hour between the wedding ceremony and reception in 2010.

Open-Mics:

He has played at many open-mics from St. Catherines to Barrie and Kingston to Guelph.
Lyric has also played with Grant Boyer at East Side Marios and Groundswell Coffee Shop in Alliston.
