Only Aretha Franklin (#1), Tina Turner (#2) and Janis Joplin (#3) were ranked higher.
 
Bonnie Raitt turns 65 Saturday. Her rise to pop and AC popularity starting in 1990 took nearly 20 years and nine albums. That tenth LP put her in the spotlight and here’s the title song…
 
 
“Nick Of Time” won her four Grammys, including Album Of The Year. She’d win another six Grammys.
 
Bonnie Raitt’s had eight AC hits and this was her biggest from 1992…
 
 
 
 

“Not The Only One” reached #2 on the AC chart. Bonnie was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2000…and here’s a good example why…
