“All Those Years Ago” reached #2 on one chart and #3 on another in the summer of 1981 as a tribute to John Lennon.

My second favorite George Harrison hit wasn’t a #1, either. Nor was it the only #1 Beatle song that he wrote by himself, “Something.” Instead, it was this 1976-77 song that was a response to his losing a lawsuit over “My Sweet Lord” sounding similar to “He’s So Fine” by the Chiffons…
